Vernon Winterton is one of the founding members of the Greater Wasatch Dutch Oven Society. He has competed in numerous Dutch oven cook-offs over the years, qualifying three times for the world championships. He lives in Lehi, Utah, and is the author of Let's Go Dutch and Dutch Oven Camp Cooking.
