It is an account through the eyes of normal people with a measure of common sense and a measure of wisdom to place their faith in God and not man. It highlights the knowledge of mankind and how they lean more to their own knowledge and not God's wisdom, leading to hurt, pain, and the breakdown of society.
It also highlights the resiliency of a Christian faith displayed by a country standing strong and making right a bad decision made four years prior proving that God is still in control.
