In 2012 my life seemed to be crumbling right before my eyes and I felt like there was nothing I could do about it. I lost my mom in May, my siblings and I were torn apart by some things that were said out of anger, my husband and I filed for bankruptcy and I lost my home. When all seemed lost I was brought to my 30 days of thanks, which brought me closer to the Lord and made me realize just what was important in life, how I had to make myself happy and how I needed to forgive. I sometimes think that if it weren't for those 30 days I would have been totally lost and walked away from the only stable thing in my life...God
