Author Biography

As the author of Timeless Trails books, I enjoy writing books about moral and social values because these choices determine the character of our lives. The world has changed a great deal and life is now very different, but many of the problems we had growing up remain the same. I was born in Wyoming, about the time of The Great Depression. It was a time when the rural west was beginning to enjoy radio. This opened our world, but that change was only the beginning. My generation learned values mostly from family standards. Later more influences would come technology that has become a part of our present culture. I grew up in an isolated area, was educated in local schools and attended the University of Wyoming. My first real job was that of a teacher in North Dakota. Later I married and had a family. I began working in the business world where I remained for many years. Although I have lived in many states, most of my life was spent in Virginia, Northern Virginia. After my retirement, I returned to the West, but this time to the Southwest where I now live in the wintertime and Montana in the summers.
