Mother Goose is best remembered for her Nursery Rhymes. They are easy to remember, and have repeated from one generation to the next without the aid of any kind of manuscript. These parts of her lineage work well for parents of very young kids who constantly have their hands very full with the infant, bottles, stuffed animals and all kinds of other child related items.
These Nursery Rhymes have entertained children for generations. What she was less well known for were her tongue twisters. She is credited with hundreds of them. These are designed to teach children linguistic skills in a fun and entertaining way.
A selection of these things are contained in the pages of this book. Some of the selections here are her less well-known works, but still things that should be recorded and not forgotten.
This book is purely text base and is does not contain graphics or pictures of any kind. It is offered as an inexpensive way to pass on these tongue twisters and nursery rhymes for future generations. It is hoped that everyone, without regard to age, will enjoy these writings.
