by Tim McElhattan (Author)
You've probably been in pain at one time or another. Maybe you've had a headache or bruise--pain that doesn't last too long. But, many older people have ongoing pain from health problems.
A book full of a badly drawn stick man, with wonky legs and out-of-proportion arms to help you fix your niggles! And if they don't, at least you can laugh at me.
The author has divided the book up into injuries so you can skip straight to the section most relevant to you. But because he is extra nice, he has included an index at the end dividing them into area-specific exercises. So if you need an exercise for your shoulder, whip to the back, and BOSH you can find the page that my squiggly external rotation is doodled on!
Hopefully, you'll find some value here. If not to treat an injury you or a friend/family member has, maybe to give you a few extra gym exercises to spice up your life!
If you have any of the following conditions, this book might help you get back to full fitness:
- Shoulder Impingement
- Tennis Elbow (lateral Epicondylitis)
- Patello Femoral Pain Syndrome (PFPS) - Shin Splints
- Hamstring Strain
- Lower Back Pain
- Achilles Tendinopathy
- Ankle Sprain
- Frozen Shoulder (Adhesive Capsulitis) - Sciatica
