Wendy was a nurse ... not just at work, but also at home and in the community. She was always taking care of people, but she started having a harder time with that and started a slow decline.
Wendy lived with Alzheimer's disease for at least six years. Her husband Lynn cared for her continuously at home for all but the last three and a half months of her life on this earth. As he has been doing for over 30 years, Lynn has always kept a daily journal to help keep track of his work and personal activities. He kept a detailed account of Wendy's progression through the disease, including medications, how they were administered, & how she reacted to them. He was with her every step of the way.
Lynn showed others what it means to live by your wedding vows ... for better or for worse ... in sickness & in health ... 'til death do us part.
