My name is Melanie Padgett. This writing is inspired by my late husband. I wrote a book about our relationship from the time we met until the time of his death from COVID. It is a love story. It is a God story. All the words written come strictly from my personal account and memory, along with hand written cards from either him or others. I have not written other people's words except the Holy Scriptures that I referenced to taken from the King James Bible, or cards written from family or friends. This book was written to honor my husband-his life as a just man-and encourage others. I wrote from my personal experience while meeting, courting and being Vaughn's wife of eleven years.
