To become RS/GIS/GPS/GNSS professionals, students must be familiar with the technology as well as the basic concepts that drive the technology. This text book is designed to be used for the students as an introductory course material in Remote Sensing, Geographical Information System, Surveying, Geomatics, and Property Studies. There are three themes in this text book, such as Remote Sensing (RS) and its kindred technologies, namely Geographical Information System (GIS), Global Positioning System (GPS)/Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS). This text book will provide students with an overarching introduction to remote sensing (RS), geographical information system (GIS), and global navigational satellite system (GNSS) and their core components and utilities in terms of natural and manmade resources management.
