She smiled shyly at him. "I think I'd like that, Eric."

Eric's heart going miles a minute, he smiled back at her. "That's great Carolyn! It's all really casual for the evening. Roger holds a Bible study. Sometimes it's a large group, but I'll bet it's pretty small tonight."

"That sounds good. I'll be ready."

Eric's smile covered his face and lit up his eyes. "Thanks."

Eric came and picked her up, Derek was going, but he made an excuse to need to come later and drove himself. He was glad to see Carolyn get out and of course, Eric was the perfect man to take her.
