In many ways, people want to be healed from emotional scars and past or present hurts. To heal, we always find ourselves looking and searching. However, we find ourselves looking and searching for love, healing, and peace in the wrong places and in many faces. Why do we do this? In those moments, we don't exactly know why.
We do we repeat subtle, destructive and abusive behavior time and time again to ourselves? Drugs, alcoholism, and promiscuity become an experiment that form bad habits, which lead to lack of love, lack of healing, and lack of peace. Thank God that his power finds a way to shower his abundance of agape love on us. The only strings that will be attached are the threefold cord that cannot be broken.
Abandoned: Lost and Confused is a story about navigating childhood and adult life. The feeling of being unloved and uncared for were the challenges I faced growing up. This is a story of the emotional and physical abuse within two of my marriages and other relationships along the way.
