The book was written by a 14-year-old Minecraft coder who studied Java and Minecraft coding at iD Tech Camp at Princeton University in 2013 and attended Minecon 2013. Ethan Snyder's first book, Best Friends: The Adventures of Squirrel and Chipmunk in Maine, was published in 2013 and is selling well on Amazon and Kindle and in bookstores.
