Author Biography
JOKY VAN DIETEN became a celebrity in the European racing world. She was severely injured in two accidents and was able to heal herself by believing in her own powers. She has led a fascinating life that includes renovating a 15th century historic site and a British minesweeper, plus raising miniature donkeys. Joky learned at an early age to never have any fear, so she has enjoyed exploring exotic locations around the world. She currently resides in the Netherlands. JILL GURR has written 16 original screenplays. She adapted the novel "Hit and Run" by James Hadley Chase, which was produced as "Rigged," starring George Kennedy. She also wrote a PBS pilot, "Socrates," which stars Ed Asner. Jill founded the charity Create Now and published the book, "Mentor Youth Now: A Guidebook for Transforming Young Lives." Her children's intermediate reader book, "Dolphin Healing," will be published in January 2014.
