Sean Vernon was on his way to a pursuing a career in music as a singer/songwriter. Setting the poems of Emily Dickinson, Robert Frost, Shakespeare and Yeats to music and performing his own original songs at both intimate and large venues, his career was about to take off. Then in 1986, the thirty-year-old musician was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.
