And Morning Will Come is an anthology of short fiction and creative non-fiction. It features the 2017 Writivism Short Story Prize winning "Stolen Pieces" by Munachim Amah, alongside short stories in French by Regine Gwladys and Dondedieu Richtel Ollier, the 2017 Koffi Addo Writivism Prize for Creative Non-Fiction winner, "Meat Bomb" by Charles King besides other stories shortlisted and long listed for the two prizes. Writivism is a Kampala-based initiative that promotes African Literature through literary prizes as well as an annual mentoring programme for emerging writers who live in African countries. Writivism directly publishes anthologies arising out of the above programmes. Annual prize anthology titles so far published include: Picture Frames and other stories (2013), Fire in the Night and other stories (2014), Roses for Betty and other Stories (2015), and Sundown and Other Stories (2016). And Morning Will Come is the fifth in the prize anthology series and second to be published and distributed in collaboration with Black Letter Media.
