About the Author
Seth A. Roberts, M.A. Seth Roberts has been teaching AP European history for 23 years. In 2016, he joined the faculty of the International Bilingual School of Hsinchu in Taiwan, where he teaches AP Economics and AP European History, and is the Director of Teaching & Learning. He has received many accolades for his teaching and coaching, including a distinguished teaching award from Stanford University, and has been recognized as the World Scholar's Cup coach of the year. Mr. Roberts was also the director of Model United Nations Operations for the UNESCO Center for Peace from 2004-2017.
In the 1930s, Manuel H. Barron opened a bookstore in Brooklyn, New York. People from the community asked Mr. Barron about books that might be available to help their children study for the New York State Regents exams. After realizing there wasn't anything available, Mr. Barron created his own study guides. 80 years later, Barron's has helped millions of people prepare for their next step.
