This new AS level chemistry book is written in plain English to help the student comprehend and learn. The many questions, with answers, help the student revise the material and improve their exam technique. This book is a course companion and a revision aid. The book relates to the exam boards AQA, Edexcel, and OCR (including the transition metal option), and would be useful for both the Nuffield and the Salters specifications. The author has extensive experience helping students gain high grades in chemistry A level. Responding to requests by readers the author has produced a new version with more space for student notes, more practice questions, more room for the student to write their own answers. The text has been edited with reference to the new 2008 specifications. The questions and text have been extensively tested and checked.
