I was most likely the first, and perhaps only, person known to my friends to make such a journey (Barbados is on the other side of the planet). As such, many of them would constantly ask me what China was like. Having to reply to message after message, I decided to write little entries and send to those wondering what I was up to. After many months, I thought it would be a good idea to compile them and see how much I'd written.
