The Bible tells us that Jesus was in the desert for forty days and forty nights. For Him, the experience was a time of difficult testing in preparation for the great things God had in store for His only Son. As human beings, we, too, often find ourselves in a desert of testing, making life difficult. For women, filled with love and sensitivity, these desert times can feel even more trying. Peggy S. Baumann wears the hats of wife, mother, gramma, friend, and dedicated daughter of God. She has worked in women's ministries for more than twenty-five years and recently co-launched "Be Still and Know ... Everyday Joy Ministries," a speaking, writing, and music ministry designed to deliver God's message to women everywhere that He loves them immeasurably. This is her first book.
