Greg Westrich is a freelance writer and editor. He has published more than forty articles in newspapers and magazines and is the author of FalconGuides' Hiking Maine. He writes regularly for Bangor Daily News' The Weekly. Though most of his work has involved natural history, hiking, and other outdoor activities, Greg has also written stories on everything from Maine wedding traditions to the history of the Bangor Y. Greg is currently writing a new book, and working on an MFA at the University of Southern Maine's Stonecoast program.
