Any purchases outside of his approved items, my grandfather helped me buy, like, diapers, baby food, etc. My husband was very violent and I was abused many times when I did not obey his commands. During these many abused times, I would hide into my basement and write down my prayers\/poems to our Lord. With tears going down my face and fear in my heart I would pray for safety, comfort and hope. This was before support groups and abuse groups for abused women, so I went to my parents and grandparents.
