The absence of African History is one of the major gaps that refers to consequences on the Brazilian population. Taking the environment as inferiority of Afrodescendants, it takes away the opportunity to build a positive identity about the origins. This absence makes room for prejudiced, uninformed or racist hypotheses, creating fertile ground for the production and dissemination of the wrong ideas of the black population. The absence of a memory induces the idea that it does not exist. That is not part of the knowledge to be transmitted.
