One of the main problems facing the Old West's inhabitants was the lack of women in frontier territories. Entire towns were populated only by men, while many unmarried young women languished on the east coast. To remedy that situation, marriages were arranged over mail. And now we find a reluctant Lucky Luke in charge of protecting a convoy of brides on their way west. Could he, too, be in danger of finding a wife?
Author Biography
Born and raised in Belgium, Morris moved to the United States in 1946 for six years. There, he worked for MAD magazine and met René Goscinny, with whom he collaborated from 1955 until Goscinny's death in 1977. Guy Vidal was a French journalist and script writer. A great friend and partner of René Goscinny, he was among other things editor-in-chief of the famous magazine Pilote, then editorial director at Dargaud publishing.
