This book, which is a collection of case studies on games-based learning, is a selection of papers which have been presented at the European Conference of Games-Based Learning (ECGBL) over the last 10 years. Games-Based Learning is an area of research which has developed greatly over the last decade in both the academic and theoretic realm as well as in its implementation. The contributions in this book are from researchers from around the world including Australia, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Norway, Sweden and the USA. Games-Based Learning truly is a global issue and we can learn much from colleagues working in different parts of the world. Robin Munkvold from Nord University in Norway has edited the book and provided insightful commentaries for each paper.
