Set somewhere in the Midwest, Catch Me follows young JP, a high school senior at odds with his teachers, his parents and society in general. Tired of the weight the world imposes on him, he finds ways to rebel, through alcohol, cigarettes and any act of disobedience. When the burden from all these people is about to become too much for JP, they suddenly disappear.
After the initial shock of this unexplainable event fades away, JP embraces this new reality, finally enjoying the freedom he always wanted. Banding together with a group of other people who still remained, he attempts to live as he always lived. But with nothing to rebel against, he only hurts himself and these few others.
Now at odds with himself, JP struggles to cope with the one weight the world left to him when it vanished, the weight of his own action.
A psychological examination of freedom and responsibility in human action, Catch Me presents the rebel in a space with nothing to rebel against. In a world without rules, how should one act? If the world and its rules were to disappear, would you be able to go on living the same way as before?
