Marc B. Caron is a priest of the Diocese of Portland, Maine. He holds a licentiate degree in liturgical studies from the Catholic University of America and a doctorate in sacred theology from the University of St. Mary of the Lake\/Mundelein Seminary. For fourteen years, he has served as diocesan master of ceremonies. Over the same period, he has held positions as diocesan chancellor, director of the Department of Ministerial Services, moderator of the Curia, and vicar-general. In addition, he has served as the parochial vicar and pastor of a number of parishes in Maine as well as university chaplain. For four years, he was a member of the formation faculty of St. John's Seminary in Brighton, Massachusetts, and director of liturgy.
