Churches are essential to God's gospel mission among humankind. God chose the church, Christ's own bride, to carry his good news to all nations. The authors are an experienced Moody Bible Institute professor who teaches applied theology and church ministries, and heads pastoral studies, and an experienced lawyer and law professor who teaches nonprofit law, forms and advises churches, and directs church operations.
