"Claire's Workbook" has evolved over 25 years' teaching experience with students from 4 to 72 years of age, and started as single-sheet handouts for use during class. The workbook was developed when these worksheets which were developed specifically for students in a class environment were compiled in a logical sequence. These were developed and improved, then bound together to help students organize their work. This workbook is also recommended as a useful preparation for secondary or high school level music courses. The teaching pages are liberally interspersed with exercise pages to reinforce the concepts introduced. Included is a glossary of Italian and other foreign musical terms.
