A dedicated educator, she is a Professor of Architecture at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and has also taught at Tulane University, Cornell University, and Syracuse University. Her research focuses on interdisciplinarity, design pedagogy, and architectural ceramics. She is a licensed architect and pursues residential, installation, and furniture design projects through her practice, C.O.CO.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eSinéad Mac Namara\u003c\/strong\u003e attended Trinity College Dublin and Princeton University, where she received a PhD in structural engineering. She is an Associate Professor and Associate Dean at Syracuse University where she teaches students of architecture and engineering. Her research interests include creativity and innovation in engineering education, technical design education in architecture, structural art, and shell structures.
