This is the story of two remarkable Royal Engineer officers during the Battle of Arnhem. One was the former commander of the British 1st Airborne Division's engineers and the other was its current commander. During the battle each was given a difficult task to perform and both of them accomplished what was asked of them under very trying circumstances.
