Author Biography
Gisela Zebroski was born in Latvia and spent her childhood in Poland. A refugee, she immigrated to the United States in 1954, haunted by the story of her people--Baltic Germans, who gave up their world to escape the Soviet terror. American offered safety, a new homeland and freedom to pursue her writing.
