Cooperative in Context: Two Countries, Two Outcomes is an inquiry into the relationship between cooperatives' performance and the contexts in which they operate. Five cooperative scholars examine Norway and Turkey as two countries with significant presence of cooperatives. Their coverage of various social, economic and political contexts to which cooperatives are exposed reveal intriguing answers to the question of why cooperatives perform so differently in these two societies.
Author Biography
Bülent Temel is a co-director at the Cambridge Institute for Dialectical Studies. He teaches economics and political science, and is the author/coauthor of 40 academic publications in the fields of political macroeconomics, cooperativism and democratic institutionalization. Dr. Temel is an editorial board member at the International Journal of Human Rights and Constitutional Studies.
