by Hermes Trimegisto (Author)
The Hermetic Texts are a series of writings in Greek and Latin that contain philosophical religious teachings attributed to Hermes Trismegistus. Among them, the Corpus Hermeticum, with the Poimandres, and the Asclepius -both included in this volume- are the most representative and valuable. It is clear their Platonic and Pythagorean imprint from ancient Egypt and their sacred character, evidenced by the fact that their anonymous authors composed these dialogues as if it was the God Hermes himself who instructed his disciples.
