Liz Sartori loves to research stories and events from history, especially the history of the United States. The time of the American Civil War, the war between the states, has been a favorite since Liz was in high school. She has read historical books and historical fiction on this loved subject. With her research, writing, puzzling, teaching, and traveling, Liz has toured many of the Civil War battlegrounds. Liz has a master's degree in education and the equivalent of half a master's degree with two years of archaeology and anthropology. Liz has shared her passion for learning as an elementary school teacher for thirty-five years, and she spent two years "digging up the past" in the American southwest.
