Dubravka Kolanovic was born in 1973 in Zagreb, Croatia. She studied at Savannah College of Art and Design in the USA and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, Croatia, where she got a degree as a painting major. Since then Dubravka havs devoted herself to children's book illustration. Dubravka's books are regularly featured on the CBeebies bedtime story show and daytime story slot also.
Jamie French has been growing his amazing collection of much-loved traditional tales and fairy tales since he was small. Now that he is a grown up, and writes tales of his own, he is still influenced by the many illustrated books that transported him when he was very young. Jamie lives in a magical, quiet corner of the English countryside with his energetic dogs and inquisitive cats.
