Author Biography
Genie Milgrom was born in Havana Cuba as a Cuban Catholic and through a long and winding search, found that her ancestry lead back to the Jews that had been persecuted in the Spanish Inquisition and had gone underground to hide the fact that they were living as both Catholics and Jews. Through her decades long search, she found the full history of her family. In the books she writes she documents these actual characters from her family tree as fictional characters following closely the story line of her own family and her own experiences. She is now a researcher of the Crypto Jews that lived along the river separating Spain and Portugal. She has been President of several genealogy Organizations and not only speaks extensively around the world, she is often quoted in printed and social media as an expert in her topic.
