Jason Turner, an engineer from California, leads a comfortable life in the suburbs before, in an instant, his life is turned upside down. A deadly plane crash leaves Jason stranded deep in the heart of the Amazon rainforest with eight total strangers including a whimsical, Shakespeare-quoting waitress, a grizzled survivalist, and a retired lawyer. The nine must now work together, fighting all of the dangers the rainforest has to offer, in a desperate attempt to see civilization again. But as the rainforest begins claiming victims, one question becomes undeniably clear: Who will die next?
