Jesus loved Deuteronomy. He quoted from it more often than from any other Old Testament book except Psalms. This is the account of Moses's last time talking to the people of Israel before his death. He pleads with them to understand the depth of God's covenant commitment and faithfulness to them. They are his "treasured possession." More than anything, Deuteronomy is about the love and grace of God for his people.
