Eerie Elegance Eats is Britta's third book after 20 years of self-publishing her website Britta Blvd, where she is known as the "Webmistress of the Dark." Artistic and crafty from a young age, over the years she has turned holidays into opportunities for elaborate parties as performance art, transforming her home into an entirely new environment, especially for Halloween. Friends have called her "a cross between Martha Stewart and Tim Burton," which is a comparison she considers high praise. She currently lives in Santa Clara, California, with Ghoulish Glen and her two black cats, Ebony and Obsidian.
