Karl Beckstrand is the award-winning author of 18 books and more than 50 online titles. Raised in San Jose, CA, he received a B.A. in journalism from BYU, an M.A. in international relations from APU, and a certificate in broadcasting & film. A bilingual publisher and media instructor, Beckstrand speaks about both traditional and digital publishing. He has lived abroad and enjoys volleyball and kayaking (usually not at the same time).
