Rev Dr Pieter J. Lalleman is Tutor in Biblical Studies at Spurgeon's College, London. His previous works include: The Lion and the Lamb: Studies on the Book of Revelation, The Acts of John, A Critical Companion to the Bible, and an entry in The Encyclopedia of Ancient History.
