One of the more challenging aspects of English for learners of the language is mastering the verb tenses. This book contains 50 exercises to practice all of those tricky verb tenses that English speakers like use. It also includes a number of exercises which cover some related structures, like 'used to' vs. 'still', gerunds vs. infinitives, conditionals, the causative, phrasal verbs, 'make' vs. 'do', and the passive voice. Answer sheets are included for all exercises. This book will probably be most useful to teachers who are looking for some extra exercises to give their students, but is also suitable for self-study.
Author Biography
Robert McGee studied English and Philosophy at Central Michigan University, and then went on to study and teach Philosophy at the University of Missouri-Columbia. He currently lives in Germany where he works as an English teacher and as a freelance academic editor. In what is left of his free time, you can find him reading books, playing video games, or hanging out with his wife and 2 children (who also read books and play video games).
