This bibliography presents an up-to-date account of the chief works on all aspects of Ethiopia, ancient and modern. The extreme conditions of the country, its very early contacts with Europe, and its maintenance of political independence are all covered.
Author Biography
Stuart Munro-Hay
After graduating in Egyptology and Coptic studies, Stuart Munro-Hay was awarded a PhD for his work on ancient Ethiopian chronology and numimaics. More recently he has travelled as a lecturer for British Museum Tours in Ethiopia.
Richard Pankhurst
Richard Pankhurst has been associated with Ethiopia for many years, and has held a number of posts in the University of Addis Ababa, including Director of the institute of Ethiopian Studies.
