As the millennium approached, the number of independent African Pentecostal churches in Britain increased rapidly. Having assimilated classical Pentecostalism and the charismatic movement, and having begun to find ways of working with the Caribbean Pentecostal denominations, it remained to be seen how UK evangelicalism would fare with African Pentecostals. Author Biography
Hugh Osgood is a senior UK church leader, the founding president of Churches in Communities International, and a visiting senior research fellow at Waverley Abbey College. He has held numerous national interdenominational positions and is the author of Is Kindness Killing the Church? (2023).
