He has published five novels: \u003cem\u003eEl bien\u003c\/em\u003e (The Good, 2003; Award for Emerging Writers, Opera Prima, Spain), \u003cem\u003eGramática de la sombra\u003c\/em\u003e (Grammar of the Shadows, 2007; Third Municipal Prize for Novels), \u003cem\u003ePequeñas intenciones\u003c\/em\u003e (Small Intentions, 2011; Second National Prize for Novels, First Municipal Prize for Novels, re-published in 2019), \u003cem\u003eHospital Posadas\u003c\/em\u003e (2015) and \u003cem\u003eTres Monedas\u003c\/em\u003e (2018). They have all been awarded prizes in Argentina and in Spain. He has also published three collections of short stories, including \u003cem\u003eVilla del Parque\u003c\/em\u003e (2016), published by Charco Press as \u003cem\u003eSoutherly\u003c\/em\u003e (2018), five books of poems and a book of essays. He is currently writing his sixth novel, to be published in 2020, an excerpt of which was published by \u003cem\u003eGRANTA\u003c\/em\u003e. \u003cem\u003eFate\u003c\/em\u003e is his second book published in English.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eOriginally from Buenos Aires and now based in Edinburgh, \u003cstrong\u003eCarolina Orloff\u003c\/strong\u003e is an experienced translator and researcher in Latin American literature. In 2016, after obtaining her PhD and working in the academic sector for several years, Carolina co-founded Charco Press where she acts as publishing director and main editor. She is also the co-translator of Ariana Harwicz's \u003cem\u003eDie, My Love\u003c\/em\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eFionn Petch\u003c\/strong\u003e was born in Scotland, spent a decade in Mexico City and is now based in Berlin. He translates from Spanish and French, and specialises in books on art and architecture. He has curated multidisciplinary exhibitions and worked for numerous cultural festivals. He holds a doctorate in philosophy from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Fionn has also translated \u003cem\u003eThe Distance Between Us\u003c\/em\u003e by Renato Cisneros and co-translated Jorge Consiglio's \u003cem\u003eFate\u003c\/em\u003e for Charco Press.
