Author Biography
Dan Pedersen grew up in Western Washington and lived in Idaho for three years in the 1970s while serving in the U.S. Air Force. He hiked and camped throughout the Stanley Basin and Wood River Valley, and returns to visit now every few years. After receiving two journalism degrees from the University of Washington in the 1960s and 70s, he became a reporter and editor for several newspapers in Idaho and Washington, including a large outdoor weekly. He also managed a magazine and other publications for an insurance and financial services corporation. Today he makes his home on Whidbey Island with his wife, Sue, and their adventurous canine, Duncan. He is the author of several books, many short stories and a weekly blog about nature and rural living, Dan's Blog. This is the third mystery in his Brad Haraldsen series, the sequel to Final Deception: A Whidbey Island Mystery and Final Passage: Mystery on the Alaska Ferry.
