Author Biography
Corinne McKay, CT is an American Translators Association-certified French to English translator. She has worked as a full-time freelancer since 2002, for clients in the international development, corporate communications, and content marketing sectors. She also translates non-fiction books, and her translation of Erhard Loretan and Jean Ammann's Night Naked: A Climber's Autobiography, published by Mountaineers Books, was short-listed for the 2017 Boardman Tasker award for mountain literature. In addition to her own translation work, Corinne has taught classes and written books for other freelance translators since 2005. How to Succeed as a Freelance Translator, her business how-to guide for freelance translators, has sold over 10,000 copies and has become a go-to reference for the translation industry.
