by H. G. Wells (Author)
These two books, published in 1911 and 1913, display the fun-loving, whimsical side of the famed science fiction author. Floor Games describes imaginary islands, towns, and vehicles that Wells put together for his two young sons, while Little Wars describes a miniature war game Wells engaged in with his adult friends. Both books have inspired parents, teachers, child psychologists, game designers and others to create their own "worlds of fun" and challenge.
