The Flora of Suffolk was the definitive guide to the flora of the English county of Suffolk. Published in 1860 the volume lists the entire known flora of Suffolk. It was compiled from a wide array of sources and for each species details both the common and Latin name, area within Suffolk one may find it, normal habitat and flowering season. Given this catalogue was published well over a century ago a number of species have since gone locally extinct or been severely reduced. As a result this reproduction provides an invaluable inside into the ecology of Suffolk during the nineteenth century.
