Author Biography
The author, Pamela Burke, has worked with, and for, nonprofit and charitable organizations her entire life. She began searching for funding and writing grants in 1978 - first as a volunteer, later as an employee, and for the last two decades as a self-employed grant writer and fund development consultant. As a technical assistance provider her mission is to improve the quality of life in communities by building the organizational capacity of nonprofits - especially those serving rural areas. When not working, you can find her planning her next trip, working in the garden, dabbling in the arts, kayaking and volunteering.
